This is my final build for 2020, an RG 00 Raiser that was commissioned. The colour scheme is based off the “Trombe” motif from Super Robot Wars Original Generations with an assymetric arm thrown in for good measure.
The more I build the 00 Gundam I find that it’s one of those designs that looks better in your mind and my least favourite of Setsuna’s Gundams. When the 0 Raiser is attached I find the Gundam is disproportionally wide when viewed from the front.
Painting
White – Gaianotes Neutral Grey III (100%) base coat, followed by Mr Color GX Cool White (95%) + Gaianotes Neutral Grey I
Black – Mr Color GX Ueno Black base coat. White added for highlights, then Black (100%) used to post-shade/blend
Dark grey – Gaianotes Neutral Grey V base coat, followed by Neutral Grey IV + bit of white for highlight
Yellow – Orange (100%) base coat, followed by starter white. Orange Yellow (80%) + Yellow (20%) misted over, then white is added for highlights
Red – Black primer, followed by starter white. Coat of Mr Color Shine Red (100%), then Yellow and white added for highlights
Internals – Gaianotes Starbright Iron + Black
